You may have been able to guess, I have very eclectic interests. A few of my favorites are listed here. My KidsMy kids are a high priority in my life. I love them very much and would do anything for them! Bree is an active nine year old who is in third grade this year. She loves art and music--especially classical and metal. Bren is an outgoing, energetic six year old, going on sixteen, who is in first grade. She loves puzzle games and computers and is also fond of classical music. Liam is an almost-three year old tornado. He is highly inquisitive and has to see how EVERYTHING works--usually by taking it apart. His favorite things are those that make noise when he messes with them. He adores "twains". Any type of train will do... Special KidsSpecial needs children have a big place in my heart. As a parent of a special needs child myself, I understand how difficult things can be at times. I want to let other parents know that they are not alone. If your child falls outside what society considers "normal", then please--reach out! Find a support group, either online or in person. Find others with similar families so that you can share your struggles and triumphs with. Just having one other voice who has been where you are can make all the difference in your life!
My SchoolI am in my sophomore year at Southeastern Louisiana University. My majors are Special Education and Elementary Education. This semester is my first as a full-time student and as an upperclassman! I do keep my class load down to a minimum, because I want to be sure that I have enough time to meet my children's needs. I like Southeastern. It's pretty good as a school goes. I somehow manage to keep up a good average!
My Hobby Ok, I admit it! I love fanfiction. What is fanfiction? Well, it's when amateur writers write stories about their favorite things--be it books, movies, tv shows, or whatever. I have taken my love to read and combined it with the lovely amount of free reading material on the internet, and become quite the fanfiction fan. I am particularly fond of Harry Potter stories, as well as *gasp* DragonBallZ stories. I know, it's weird. But hey, it's fun! Here are my favorite two sites for fic: Beware: they can be addicting!
